1. Owner of the website
In compliance with Article 10 of Spanish Law 34/2002 on information society services and electronic commerce (LSSI-CE), the details of the owner of this website are stated below:
2. Purpose of the site
bodegasdejerez.com is a free, informative directory of the wineries of the Marco de Jerez and the rest of the province of Cádiz. It gathers and organises public information about each house — its history, its vineyard sites, its grapes, its wines, the services it offers visitors and how to get in touch — and lets anyone who wishes create an account to keep their own lists and notes.
This site does not sell wine, does not handle bookings and does not act as an intermediary in any commercial relationship between the visitor and the wineries. Nor is it an official site of the Consejo Regulador or of any of the wineries that appear on it, and it holds no representation agreement with them.
3. Conditions of use
Access to the site is free and open, and does not require signing up except for the account features. Whoever uses it undertakes to do so in accordance with the law and not to employ it for unlawful purposes, or in a way that could damage, overload or impede its normal operation.
Whoever creates an account is responsible for the truthfulness of the data they provide, for safeguarding their password and for the content they write in their lists. The notes in a list marked as public are visible to anyone who knows its address, so it is wise not to write anything in them that you would not want to share.
The owner may suspend or cancel an account that breaches these conditions, or that is used to publish offensive or false content or content that infringes the rights of others.
4. Intellectual and industrial property
The texts written for this directory, the original illustrations of each entry, and the design and code of the site are the work of the owner and are protected by intellectual property law. They may be freely quoted and linked to with attribution; reproducing them systematically or for commercial purposes requires prior authorisation.
The trade names, trademarks and distinctive signs of the wineries and their wines belong to their respective owners. They appear here for informational purposes, to identify each house within the directory, without this implying any affiliation, sponsorship or endorsement on their part.
If you hold rights over any content published here and believe it is being used improperly, write to us and we will remove or correct it without argument.
5. Accuracy of the information and liability
The information in each entry is gathered from public sources and reviewed by hand, but it changes: a winery opens and closes its visits, changes its phone number, stops bottling a wine. The map coordinates are approximate. Before travelling, always confirm opening hours, visits and prices with the winery itself.
The owner is not liable for damages arising from decisions taken on the basis of outdated or incorrect information, nor for interruptions of service, though every effort is made to avoid them. If you spot an error in an entry, let us know: correcting it is part of the project.
6. Links to other sites
Many entries link to the corresponding winery's website. Those sites belong to others: the owner does not control their content or their privacy policies, and is not liable for them. The link exists so you can reach the original source, not as a recommendation.
7. Content about alcoholic beverages
This site is about wine. Its content is aimed at adults and does not promote the abusive consumption of alcohol. Member accounts are reserved for people over 18.
8. Modifications
The owner may modify both the content of the site and this legal notice at any time. The version in force is always the one published on this page, with the update date shown above.
9. Applicable law
This relationship is governed by Spanish law. For any dispute, the parties submit to the courts and tribunals that apply under the law. If you are a consumer, this does not affect the rights granted to you by consumer protection rules or the jurisdiction corresponding to your place of residence.
