Macharnudo palette: albariza and goldA Jerez house founded in 1882, the home of 103 brandy, which in 1930 became Bobadilla y Cía. and came to own vineyards in Balbaína and Macharnudo. It was sold to Osborne in the early nineties, and 103 is now one of that house’s brands.
In the late sixties it left its bodega on Calle Cristal, built on land of the former convent of La Merced, and moved out to the ring road. In 1989 the house became Bodegas Bobadilla S.A., and shortly afterwards it was sold to Osborne, which kept the 103 brandy. The old bodega on Calle Cristal is no longer a winery.
