About the winery

A century-old bodega in Lebrija housed in an eighteenth-century industrial baroque building, now in the hands of the fourth generation of the Ahumada family. It ages must and wine from its own vineyard and serves them from the cask among the butts, in a courtyard with tables where you may bring your own food.

The Lebrija bodega, founded in 1960 by Francisco González Palacios more as a hobby than a business. It works out of two buildings: Los Arcos, in the middle of town, and the newer Abuelo Curro, on the Overo estate. It makes fortified wines in the Lebrija style, and varietal reds and whites too.
