Ten generations of manzanilla in the Barrio Alto, facing the mouth of the Guadalquivir. The Romeros of La Balsa were already ageing wine here in 1630; in 1895 Manuel Barón bought their soleras and stopped selling in bulk to bottle under his own name. Micaela, Atalaya, Pino Viejo and Xixarito all come from this house.
