Galería del Jerez

Save to my lists

About the winery

A winery and museum in the Santiago quarter, in two restored century-old cellars: one ages the Roberto Amillo Collection — Amontillado, Palo Cortado, Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez — and the other holds what may be the world's largest private collection on the culture of Sherry and brandy, over 17,000 pieces.

Driven by Roberto Amillo, owner of Bodegas Altanza (Rioja), the Galería del Jerez opened in 2020 as a small winery in the Santiago quarter that combines wine ageing with a museum of more than 17,000 objects: a photo library, archive, advertising, films and historic labels documenting 20th-century Jerez culture.
