Carrascal palette: toasted earthA winery where wine and horses share the spotlight, heir to the historic Bodegas Pilar Aranda and to Álvaro Domecq's equestrian legacy.
The winery was born in 1850 as Bodegas Pilar Aranda. In 1998 Álvaro Domecq — cattle breeder, rejoneador and founder of the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art in 1975 — took it over, giving it its current name. It holds a stock of around 1,300 century-old butts.
From the same butts and the same soleras.
