About the winery

A natural white from the Los Terrajos vineyards in Grazalema, at 850 metres: among the highest in the province. Ángel Luis Gutiérrez has made it since 2017 from old vines of almost forgotten varieties, unfiltered, unfined and with no added sulphites, and each vintage comes to around a thousand bottles.

The first bottles came out in 2017, and since then the vineyard has grown to a hectare. The blend changes with the vintage — Perruno, Beba, Mantúo, Zalema, Macabeo — and the must spends a day on the skins before fermenting spontaneously. The winemaker for the first vintages was Alejandro Cobos.

Wineries that bottle as "Vino de España", outside the Consejo Regulador's DOs and the Cádiz PGI. This is not a shortcoming: several Marco projects deliberately give up that cover so they can make wines — vinos de pasto, unfortified, single-pago — that the current rulebooks do not allow for.
