About the winery

The only winery in the Sherry Region devoted exclusively to the Pedro Ximénez variety, in the hands of the same family since the 18th century.

Founded in 1729 by the Spínola family, of Italian origin, who came to the Sherry Region during the wine export boom. Unlike other houses, which mostly grow Palomino, Ximénez-Spínola works only with Pedro Ximénez grapes. Today it is run by José Antonio Zarzana, the family's ninth generation.
