The complex's origins date back to 1765, although the current building, popularly known as "Los Doce Discípulos", was built in 1848 for the firm Palomino & Vergara. In 1992, José Páez Morilla acquired the brand and founded Bodegas Dios Baco, S.L., reviving the name of the statue of Bacchus that once crowned the original façade.
