About the winery

The oldest winery in Jerez, the historic birthplace of Pedro Domecq. Today it makes Harveys, the world's best-selling Sherry, and the Fundador and Terry brandy brands.

Its origins date back to 1730. It belonged to the Pedro Domecq group and later passed through Allied Domecq and Beam Suntory, until in 2015 the Philippine group Emperador acquired its Jerez wineries along with the Fundador, Tres Cepas, Terry and Harveys brands for 275 million euros. In January 2017 Emperador also bought Garvey, the house founded in Jerez in 1780 by the Irishman William Garvey and home of San Patricio Fino, which is now one of Fundador’s brands.

This house keeps what remains of: Bodegas Garvey, José de Soto (Vinícola Soto)
