Since 1950
A pure almacenista, of a kind that has almost died out. Founded in 1950 by a grocery wholesaler and run today by his grandson, with some two and a half thousand butts a step from the Atlantic. It does not bottle under its own name: its manzanilla pasada and its amontillado de Sanlúcar go out in Lustau's almacenista range, for which it is the sole supplier of manzanilla.

A wine shop and bodega on Calle Mar, in the original house where Pedro Romero began ageing manzanilla in 1840. Since 2014 it has bottled very small runs of manzanilla, amontillado, oloroso and palo cortado, and it still sells old wine from the cask to anyone who turns up with a bottle.

A family of vine growers since 1850. Miguel Guerra Virtués started out selling pine firewood from a warehouse on Calle de la Plaza, alternating it with the harvest, until in 1940 he bought the bodega on Calle Mendaro, built in 1880, which is still the house. That warehouse gave his fino its name: the palillos were the pine stakes used in the vineyard. It was the first house in Chiclana to bottle a fino, and Palillo has been bottled since 1943.

A family bodega beside the Bornos reservoir, with some of the oldest vines in the district — up to forty years — behind its Regantío Viejo. The Naranjo Ortiz family bought it in 2018 to rebuild the project without touching the raw material. It does not go beyond thirty-five thousand bottles a campaign and has a restaurant of its own.
View wineryHalf a hectare of organic Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah at the Los Llanos estate, which Jerónimo Ruiz Mota bought in 1999. Everything happens in the bodega itself, from harvest to bottling, and since 2014 it has been the home of the Asociación Portuense Amigos del Vino Tinto.

They bought a small bodega in the Santiago quarter and with it eight hectares of vines in Balbaína and two in Macharnudo, farmed strictly organically. The house is also known as Viña Corrales and is one of the nine members of Territorio Albariza.

The only winery in San Fernando, run by brothers José and Miguel Gómez, chemists by training. They farm five hectares split between Sanlúcar, Chiclana and Jerez on biodynamic lines, with spontaneous fermentations and barely any sulphur: Tintilla de Rota reds, Palomino whites and sparklings, and orange wines.

An organic winery and olive mill between Conil and Vejer, devoted to recovering the red varieties grown in the area in the nineteenth century. It makes wine, vinegar and extra virgin olive oil.
